Stoke City confirm rise in season card sales in show of faith and optimism

Stoke City have confirmed season ticket sales are several hundred up on 12 months ago in a show of faith before the first league game. Stoke had sold 17,154 season cards by 11am this morning, which is an increase of 522 compared to the corresponding date in 2025 - and means the total tally for last term has already been surpassed. Stoke take on Swansea at the bet365 Stadium on Saturday (3pm) with Mark Robins heading into his second full season as manager and backed by five new signings, with more expected to follow. The club has frozen season ticket prices at the same level since 2008 with a seat in the Boothen End available for £344. Under-11s can watch for £1 per game with a paying adult. The new home shirt has apparently been the best seller in a decade while the away shirt - inspired by Reginald Mitchell's Spitfire - and the third shirt - inspired by a cold Tuesday night - are selling well. We are hugely thankful for the amazing support and can’t wait to see and hear a loud and proud bet365 Stadium at the opening Championship fixture against Swansea City.” Stoke welcomed a crowd of 10,157 for a Carabao Cup first round tie 2-0 win at the bet365 Stadium against Oldham on Saturday. That was the third highest attendance Stoke have recorded at home for that stage of the competition. The stadium ticket office is open from 10am to 5pm today, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday this week and from 10am until kick-off on Saturday. Sales are online only on Wednesday. What do you think?
