It seems that Fikayo Tomori’s fate has been confirmed and AC Milan will try to organise a sale for the defender shortly.
Throughout the summer, there have been contrasting views on Tomori and his future. Indeed, the defender seemed to be headed for the door in the early stages of the mercato, but he has featured regularly in pre-season.

Of course, there are reasons for this. However, his sale became less of a guarantee than it seemed at the end of May.
Things have now reverted, though, so it seems that progress could be made on finding a solution that suits all parties.
Tomori decision made
According to Corriere dello Sport, via MilanNews, the Englishman could start packing his bags this week with his future clear. Indeed, Ruben Amorim does not consider him to be part of the technical project and wants to sell him to capitalise on the extra financial resources that he’d bring.
In addition to this, his sale would allow the Rossoneri to re-enter the defensive mercato – in other words, a move for Goncalo Inacio would open up – which is a must for many.
Considering his deal expires next summer, it is a decision that makes a lot of sense for all parties, especially with him falling short of expectations in recent seasons.
