Serie A club are plotting a move for Tottenham defender. Destiny Udogie has been a part of the Spurs squad since 2023. The N17 bosses had actually signed the talented left-back from Udinese in August 2022 and loaned him back to the Italian club, allowing him to continue his development before officially joining Tottenham the following year. The idea to bring in Robertson has been designed to manage the Italian’s fitness and utilise his full potential throughout the campaign. Retaining Udogie provides De Zerbi with quality at left-back. The Verona-born talent is the first-choice left-back, and he will want to keep his spot intact under De Zerbi with consistent performances. With four years still remaining on his contract and the player expressing no desire to leave, Tottenham have the upper hand in the negotiations should Roma come knocking on the door.
