So you would imagine that is too quick a turnaround before any other player is brought in. So at most, any new left-back we sign will only be able to get minutes for us in one pre-season fixture. This would be against Augsburg at Elland Road next Saturday. Understandably, it took time for the 49ers to secure big signings like Tarik Muharemovic and James Trafford. But when it comes to rounding out our squad by adding sufficient depth, the 49ers need to have an extremely efficient end to the window.
