The sun shone brightly - and so too did Leeds United’s supporters for the team’s long awaited return to Elland Road in Saturday’s pre-season friendly against RB Leipzig. Despite the West Stand being shut amid the ongoing Elland Road redevelopment work, Leeds still managed an attendance of 24,630 who witnessed a 2-0 victory over 120 minutes of football or two 1-0 wins - depending on how you want to view it. 1.
