West Brom complete signing of French midfielder Rabby Nzingoula Albion have been busy in the transfer market again with another new option for James Morrison ahead of the Championship curtain-raiser. Albion have further bolstered their midfield options ahead of the new Championship season with the capture of Rabby Nzingoula from Strasbourg. The 20-year-old has agreed a three-year contract at The Hawthorns in a deal worth around £2million. He becomes the seventh senior recruit of the summer. Including teenage defender Carter Pinnington the Baggies are now at eight new additions. Nzingoula, a France youth international, is set to be an energetic, all-action midfielder and becomes the latest new face in that department after Felix Horn Myhre was added to James Morrison’s squad last week. CLICK HERE Nzingoula was in the final year of his contract at Strasbourg, where he progressed through the youth ranks to become a senior squad member. The midfielder has also enjoyed loans in France’s Ligue 1 with Montpellier and in the German second tier with Nurnberg. The Baggies’ latest addition has 56 senior appearances to his career to date, from which 30 have been as a starter, Nzingoula, who is also of Congolese heritage, becomes Albion’s second French signing of the summer after Nolan Galves from Rodez in Ligue 2. Morrison’s ranks are now well-stocked in midfield, as Nzingoula joins Myhre, Ousmane Diakite, Alex Mowatt and Jayson Molumby as natural senior options. “I’m really excited to get playing,” said new Baggies man Nzingoula. “From the games I have seen, it’s clear to see it’s a very good, physical and demanding division.” The latest recruit could make his Albion debut in Saturday’s Championship curtain-raiser at Norwich on Saturday afternoon.
