However, it is the deal for Hojbjerg that is progressing and transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano has delivered an update on the situation and has described Hojbjerg as ‘a priority target’ for new Magpies head coach Jaissle. He posted on X: “Newcastle are pushing for Pierre Emile Højbjerg deal as priority in midfield despite links with more players.
