Manchester City manager Enzo Maresca has issued a fitness update on his squad ahead of Saturday's Premier League meeting with Coventry City. Rayan Cherki scored a brilliant brace on his first Premier League start of the season in London and is expected to start, with the France international able to operate on the right wing should Maresca want to throw Fernandez straight into the starting XI. Ndiaye is expected to be named on the bench against Lampard's side owing to the impressive form shown by Antoine Semenyo, who grabbed a fabulous assist for Erling Haaland to open the scoring against Crystal Palace last time out. Where Nico O'Reilly starts is an own deliberation in itself as the 21-year-old England international has already shown he can operate in a multitude of positions, with City now well-stocked with an array of options in every position after an impressive finish to the transfer window.
