Tottenham have decided to send another highly-rated talent out on loan. Tottenham Hotspur have been trimming their squad for the past few weeks after spending millions earlier this summer. Spurs have already moved on several players, both on loan and permanent transfers. Luka Vuskovic, Alfie Devine and Will Lankshear have been sold, while Radu Dragusin has joined Fiorentina on a season-long loan with a conditional obligation to buy next year. Manor Solomon is in the closing stages of his £7m move to Championship club West Ham. The Lilywhites have also been trying to find a temporary solution for Yang Min-hyeok lately. It looks like they have already found one. KVC Westerlo agree loan deal with Tottenham winger Yang Min-hyeok According to a report from The Athletic, KVC Westerlo has agreed a season-long loan for Yang Min-hyeok. The 20-year-old has passed his medical ahead of the move to KVC Westerlo, pending an official announcement. The decision follows the South Korean talent’s limited involvement during Tottenham’s pre-season under Roberto De Zerbi, with the club opting for another developmental loan rather than keeping him in the squad. Yang Min-hyeok joined Tottenham from Gangwon FC in July 24 with high expectations but has yet to make a single appearance in the first team. The speedy attacker has had three separate loans since moving to England, all with Championship clubs. After spending the second half of 2025 on loan at Queens Park Rangers, he returned to the Championship last season with spells at Coventry City and Portsmouth. Yang has continued his development across those loans, and he is set for another temporary spell away from Spurs. A move to KVC Westerlo offers the South Korean international the chance to gain regular first-team football in the Belgium Pro League. It will mark his first adventure in European football, allowing Yang to get much-needed experience to aid his development. Westerlo is the club where Luka Vuskovic spent the 2024/25 season on loan. The Croatian defender’s development at the Belgian club was impressive before he moved to Hamburg on loan in the Bundesliga last season. Last month, Spurs sold Vuskovic to Brighton for £46m. Having found success in loaning out Vuskovic two years ago, Spurs want to follow the same formula with Yang and hope it clicks. The versatile attacker has already undergone his medical with Westerlo, meaning the move is now imminent. The Hotspur Way chiefs may well retain the right to bring him back in the January transfer window if they feel the loan is not working out.
