There’s a 23-year difference between the two, but fate has made them share a dressing room. The Croatian wants redemption after a season with no silverware or even Champions League qualification, whilst the Italian wants to prove himself in Serie A for the first time. Speaking on the midfielder’s renewal, Ardon Jashari admitted that Modric continuing with the club would only help him and the case will remain the same for young Comotto. If nothing else, it’s a chance to shadow his idol, which would boost his belief, if not his ability.
