Nottingham Forest Women have signed Leticia McKenna on a deal until 2028, following a five-year spell at Melbourne City. McKenna played a key role in the Melbourne side that clinched the domestic double last season, earning a third straight A-League Premiership before lifting the Championship trophy for the first time since 2020. The versatile midfielder scored on her debut for Australia in April 2026 and was part of the U23 squad that won the 2025 ASEAN Women’s Championship. Tom Mallinson, Head Coach, told nottinghamforest.co.uk: “Leticia is of an age where she can continue to improve and grow as a player, but she has also already achieved a lot in the game. That is a balance that is always exciting for a coach and we are all looking forward to working with her. “She will give us something different in our midfield and has the quality to come into the group and make an immediate impact.
