But I think we still did pretty well, but there are still things we need to improve. “But obviously to save two penalties and then we go on [to the next round], it's a nice feeling.” Given the pressure is all on the taker in a shootout scenario, Weiss felt this was his time to shine. “It's just a great feeling to be in a shootout as a goalkeeper,” the 22-year-old added. “I think you can just win because it's a penalty. I just go in and try my best to help the team and save some penalties. “Obviously you see Championship and Premier League players every single week. You might be able to get some kind of judgement on where they're going to put it. “Whereas with a lower league team, it's very difficult to judge it beforehand. I think we still have some good material, but it's still a lot of your gut feeling, where you want to go and what you think of the player right now. Click here “So at one point, just discuss with the goalkeeping coaches where we want to go and then I'll put in my gut feeling.” Despite emerging as victors, Burnley were far from convincing - especially during the first-half where they struggled to create anything of real note. But the home side improved after the break, levelling through Zian Flemming. But Hayen’s side were unable to find that winner during normal time. “To be fair, I think we started the first half exactly how we wanted to. But then the game got a little bit away from us,” Weiss said. “So we just said: ‘go back to that first 20-25 minutes and then we're going to score, we're going to create our opportunities’. I think that's what we did and scored the goal and we're back in the game. “It was a very important game. That we win it with a good feeling and move on to next week. Continue with that good feeling and get a win next week as well.”
