Everton are interested in signing Crystal Palace defender Daniel Munoz, according to Sky Sports. The Toffees are closing in on a deal for Palace attacker Brennan Johnson, and they could end up taking two players from Selhurst Park summer. Munoz has played over 100 games for Palace since joining from Genk in January 2024. He brings plenty of experience and quality to the table. However, Eagles manager Pierre Sage will be desperate to hold on to the 30-year-old as he prepares for life in the Premier League. The Frenchman replaced Oliver Glasner in June and will be keen to retain some key players heading into next season. Everton will hope they can get a deal for Munoz over the line, having been linked with a couple of right-backs this summer. The Colombian made five appearances for his country at the just-concluded World Cup, scoring twice. Munoz can also play as a winger, with tackling, passing and intercepting the ball amongst his greatest strengths. Tottenham Hotspur’s Djed Spence, Celtic’s Alistair Johnston and RB Leipzig right-back Ridle Baku have also been linked with Everton in recent weeks.
