Yesterday I turned 39 years old. If 40 is still considered “over the hill”, then I’m currently sitting atop of it like a Soapbox Derby car waiting for the race to start. A man who has never played it before and understands nothing about it, I tried to guide him with some basic tips. I called him before his league draft because I wanted to help him draft his team, but the other league members wouldn’t allow it, saying “they would try to help him”. Yeah right! I’m trying to help him win, not you guys helping yourselves. Anyway, it was a real mixed bag.
