Two months ago, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce officially married pop sensation Taylor Swift at a high-profile wedding in New York City’s Madison Square Garden. While the wedding was quite private and the two have not spoken much about the details, Kelce has now opened up a bit. During the most recent episode of his podcast, New Heights with Jason & Travis Kelce, Travis described it as a “magical night.” ‘It was insane’ Kelce had previously opened up a bit about the wedding, calling it a “crazy night,” but during this week’s podcast, he offered a few more details. “It was a magical, magical night,” Kelce said on the podcast. “It was insane. It’s a night we’ll never forget. Me and Taylor are so thankful for everyone that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night. It was just so magical, man, and I wish that it could have lasted even longer than it did. It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye.” Travis described the wedding as a “night out,” and his brother, Jason, said that there “wasn’t a bunch of speeches” and it was “just time to party and have fun.” One Major Rule While it was a time for people to break loose and have fun, Travis revealed that there was one major rule for everyone: no cell phones. “It was so cool to see how everybody interacted,” he said. “With no phones comes people not having to be on guard and feel something, whatever that feeling is for everyone. “It makes everyone be in the moment and be present, and it was so cool seeing everyone from my childhood not only mesh with Taylor and her childhood family and friends, and people she works with, to [people] who we’ve encountered in our career and admire as people and have become good friends with now. “It’s been so cool to see that world come together and hear person-by-person just how awesome of a time everyone had there. And that’s what we wanted it to be. We wanted it to be a beautiful ceremony, and we wanted to make sure everyone left there having some fun.” Now, it’s time for Kelce to prepare for what could be his final season in the NFL.
