YOUNGSTERS RACE AT GDANSK
GREAT Britian compete in the FIM European 250cc Pairs Championship today (Thursday) in Gdansk, Poland.
The series was previously was held over multi rounds, but this season it is a one-off meeting, and the winners of today’s event will be crowned the European Champions.
Seven pairs take part including the GB team of SGP3 Finalist Archie Rolph, who captains the side along with 250cc European Finalist Oli Bovingdon.
Both Rolph and Bovingdon, who have been in good form racing in this year’s British Youth Championship, have experience of the Gdansk track, with Rolph representing GB in the Pairs event at the same venue in 2025, and Bovingdon has ridden there previously in the 125cc class.
Teams from Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Germany and Romania are represented as well as a mixed team of Ukraine and the Czech Republic.
