In July, someone attempted to break in to Eagles running back Saquon Barkley’s Philadelphia-area home. Police have made an arrest in the case.
Via NBC10, authorities have taken 24-year-old Jabir Parker into custody in connection with multiple crimes, including the incident at Barkley’s residence.
Parker faces charges in connection with two home invasions and the attempted break-in of a third in Montgomery and Chester counties. In the first two, Parker allegedly stole nearly $800,000 worth of jewelry. The attempted break-in is reportedly the one that targeted Barkley’s home.
Parker was arrested on Tuesday. Authorities used “geo-fencing” to place Parker’s phone at each of the three scenes. They also found a recording of Parker’s voice on a nanny cam. He was allegedly in contact with a getaway driver at each of the incidents.
Parker faces multiple felony counts. He has been jailed on $1 million bail. He’s scheduled to appear in court on September 10.
