Cons of GW3 Free Hit: - Can’t fix issues long term as free hit is for only one week and you also get hit by Gameweek 3 price changes - Still only 2 gameweeks done this season and it’s slightly too early to use the free hit chip - Cannot triple captain Haaland this week Further Read: FPL Gameweek 3 Transfer Tips: Players to Buy, Avoid, Sell & Hold FPL GW3 Free Hit Drafts FPL GW3 Free Hit Draft 1 - This draft has triple Man City attackers with Haaland, Cherki and Foden as they play Coventry City at home. Coventry have not looked good in the first two games, whereas Man City have scored 6 goals and registered 5.29 NPxG in the first two games, which is the 3rd highest amongst all teams. - Thiago (vs Sunderland at hom) and Wissa (vs Bournemouth at home) are in as the other forwards in this draft. Thiago has blanked in both games so far but has very strong underlying numbers, he has the highest xG (1.81) amongst players who have not returned this season. Sunderland were poor away from home in GW1 and GW3 looks to be a perfect fixture for Thiago to make his first FPL return. - Wissa meanwhile has returned in both games (Assist in GW1 and Goal in GW2), he looks to be the main man for Newcastle and could be on penalties too. Bournemouth meanwhile don’t look solid in defence & have conceded 7 big chances in the first two games. - This draft also has two Liverpool midfielders, Szoboszlai & Wirtz as they face Ipswich Town (A). Ipswich have conceded the most shots (44), big chances (11) and xGC (5.43), if you’re not confident on Wirtz you can also go for Isak instead for one of Thiago & Wissa. - In defence, we have got Ajer and Hall are two of the total 4 defenders who have hit DEFCON in both games. Ajer is always good for DEFCON when he plays at CB, and Hall also carries an excellent attacking threat. - The other defender in Calafiori, Arsenal face Chelsea which is not an easy fixture but Calafiori has picked up back to back assists and Arsenal have been super strong defensively having conceded only 1 big chance and just 0.53 xGC over two games. Calafiori can also cover Arsenal defence against non free hit teams who’ll have one or two Arsenal defenders in their team. - Kelleher is the goal keeper in this draft and has the highest predicted points amongst goal keepers in GW3 as per Fantasy Football Hub points predicitons. FPL GW3 Free Hit Draft 2 - Isak has the highest xG (2.08) amongst forwards in the first two games and will be up aIpswich Town in GW3. - We have also gone with Gonzalo Garcia in this draft, the former Real Madrid forward scored on his PL debut and has had 1.0 xG in the first 2 games which is pretty decent. He’ll be upagainst a Crystal Palace side that has lost a bunch of key players and have conceded 6 goals in the first two games. - Gakpo is also in this draft as a differential and is one of the few players to have returned in both games this season (Goal in GW1, Assist in GW2), along with a healthy xGI of 0.61/90. - Defence is filled with differential options too with Gvardiol, Collins and Gabriel. Arsenal (0.53), Man City (1.31) & Brentford (2.03) are the three teams with the lowest xGC conceded so far this season. - Collins has solid DEFCON potential as well and has the 3rd highest predicted points (4.8) amongst defenders in GW3. - Gabriel has not justified his price tag yet but he’s a big game player pp - Zion Suzuki is the goalkeeper in this draft, Villa where much improved in GW2 vs Arsenal and Hull City in GW3 could provide an opportunity to pick up his first PL clean sheet.
