Blackpool FC boss responds to Leicester City transfer links concerning ex-Wycombe Wanderers man Franco Ravizzoli didn’t travel to Grimsby with the Blackpool squad on Saturday afternoon. Click here Seasiders boss Evatt admits confirmation concerning Ravizzoli’s future will come soon. “At the moment it was the right thing to do for club and player,” he said. “That’s as much as I’ll say on it at the moment. We didn’t feel the need to involve him today. We’ll always try to make the right decisions for the football club, so I’m guessing there’ll be an announcement in due course. “It adds to our transfer priorities. Everyone knows that we’ve got some priorities, and we’re doing everything we can to make them happen. People are working extremely hard behind-the-scenes. This window is really slow for everybody, it’s not just us. Everyone’s having the same issues. “The team that makes the recruitment choices, alongside me and David (Downes) - it’s a collective effort, I know how hard these lads are working. They’re feeling it as well. We’re doing all we can to do the right thing for this football club, and that’s everyone’s first thought. “We know what we need and we’re trying to make it happen. The ones we’ve brought in have improved us, and we’ll continue to try and do that.”
