Lions head to Ontario: Team announces Canadian watch parties DETROIT, Mich. (WNEM) - The Detroit Lions are launching a special gameday experience at three locations across the border in Ontario. The team’s Raise the Roar Canadian Bar Tour and Raise the Roar for the Community initiative includes four different watch parties throughout the season in Windsor, London, and Kitchener. The tour kicks off for the season opener on Sept. 13 at Factory House in Windsor Ontario, followed by stops at The Canadian Brewhouse in London Ontario on Oct. 11 and the Canadian Brewhouse in Kitchener Ontario on Nov. 15. The tour will return to Factory House in Windsor for the Thanksgiving Day Classic on Nov. 26. Fans will have a chance to gather at each location for the special event, including giveaways, photo ops, interactive experiences, and opportunities to celebrate One Pride Worldwide. The Detroit Lions claw machine will also be at each location with a chance to win prizes, as well as competitive tailgate games. As part of the Raise the Roar Bar Tour, fans can participate in Raise the Roar for the Community to fight hunger. Starting on Sept. 13, donations of non-perishable food items will be welcomed at all the events. Every qualifying item donated earns one entry into a sweepstakes for a chance to win a prize.
