Bucs Claim Cornerback Kevin Knowles Off Waivers September 2nd, 2026Add a new cornerback to the Buccaneers’ 53-man roster. That’s Kevin Knowles, who spent last season with the Chiefs. Knowles was an undrafted rookie in 2025 and finished with 82 snaps on defense with 15 tackles and two passes defensed. He also played on most of Kansas City’s special teams snaps. Joe is very pleased to see the Bucs sign a couple of corners after Sunday evening’s initial submission of the 2026 53-man roster. First came Super Bowl cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting, and now the wavier claim announcement of Knowles. Joe can’t claim to know what Knowles has to offer, but he’s a Florida kid (Florida State), a supreme athlete, and he’s got experience on a first-class NFL team.
