He also played 25 games in Polish OBL where he recorded 9.2ppg, 2.1rpg, 4.9apg and 1.2spg in that year. Nelson helped them to win the regular season and make it to the semifinals. He has been also a member of the British international program for some years. Nelson has regularly played for the British senior team since 2014 and previously for the Under 20 National Team back in 2015. He also represented United Kingdom at the FIBA World Cup 2023 European Qualifiers three years ago. During this event he scored an average of 11.8 points per game and had 3.6 rebounds per game. Nelson is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (Le Portel), Germany (BG Goettingen), Poland, Spain (Manresa, Real Betis and Gran Canaria) and United Kingdom (Lions). Among many awards he won British BBL championship title in 2023. Nelson was selected All-Big West Player of the Year back in 2017. He graduated from University of California - Irvine in 2017 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
