Isack Hadjar will miss a second consecutive grand prix due to his wrist injury, Red Bull has confirmed. As when Hadjar missed the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort, Liam Lawson will take his place at Red Bull. Red Bull’s second team Racing Bulls confirmed Yuki Tsunoda will return for another round in place of Lawson.“It’s good to hear Isack is recovering well and is back in the car soon, but it’s great to have another weekend with the team,” said Lawson, who finished seven in the Dutch Grand Prix. “Zandvoort gave me a really useful first reference in the car, and having a full sprint [race] weekend behind me means I’m coming into Monza with a much better understanding of the car and what I need from it.” Red Bull said Hadjar is making “encouraging progress following the wrist injury sustained during the summer break” over two weeks ago. The team added it “will take no unnecessary risks with his return to competition and wishes him a speedy recovery.” Neither of Red Bull’s regular race drivers will appear in the first practice session at Monza. Ayumu Iwasa will drive Max Verstappen’s car as Red Bull completes one of its mandatory practice session runs for junior drivers.
