Brughmans could certainly go on to be a quality ‘keeper. But for just £10million more, Leeds have signed a 23-year-old who is expected to be England’s next number one. As well as this, he’s already one of the better shot-stoppers in the Premier League right now. So now, I don’t want to be hearing any more pundits suggesting that we overpaid for Trafford. I’m looking at you, Troy Deeney. It hasn’t taken long, but the more we see of Trafford in action, the better the deal looks. The fact that Liverpool have signed an unproven teenager for so much in his position too only makes our signing look that much better.
