Tatum Paxley’s surprise arrival on WWE SmackDown may have had a major name behind it. Paxley made her main roster debut on the August 7 episode of WWE SmackDown, joining Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss in a shocking closing segment. While the former NXT Women’s Champion’s appearance caught many fans off guard, a new report suggests that her involvement was something Flair specifically wanted. According to a report from False Finish, sources claim that Charlotte personally requested for WWE to bring Paxley into the group with herself and Bliss. The segment began with Flair facing Jade Cargill in the main event. The match soon descended into chaos when B-Fab and Michin got involved, leaving Charlotte outnumbered. Bliss then made her way to the ring with Lily as the arena went dark. When the lights returned, Paxley was already positioned on the top rope. She immediately launched herself into the action, taking out the Baddies and helping even the odds. With the situation under control, Charlotte managed to defeat Cargill and close out the show. Paxley then stood alongside Flair and Bliss, officially establishing herself as part of the new alliance.
