Stoke sign San Diego left-back Luca Bombino - Published Stoke City have made their first deadline-day signing by bringing in American left-back Luca Bombino for an undisclosed fee. The 20-year-old has joined the Championship strugglers on a four-deal from MLS side San Diego. "Luca is one of the brightest young talents in the MLS," said Potters sporting director Jonathan Walters. "With his significant potential, we believe he will continue to grow here at Stoke City. To move halfway across the world at a young age speaks to his character, desire and ambition to take his career to the highest level."
