Casual Stadium Tour Guide
Do you know your way around St James' Park like the back of your hand from matchday already? Then you're in luck!
Newcastle United is looking for an enthusiastic and engaging tour guide to deliver informative tours of St. James’ Park. If you're taken on for the role, you’ll provide visitors with a unique experience, sharing fascinating stories and facts about the Club’s rich history.
Those applying should have confidence in public speaking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with guests. The advert states that previous experience in a customer-facing role and the flexibility to work weekends are required for the role.
You'll also need GCSE, or equivalent, in Maths and English grade C or above if you want to take on the role, and will be subject to a criminal background check.

Buying and Merchandising Administrator
If you've got a background in retail and want to take a step up the career ladder, this is the job for you. While you won't be working on the shop floor, you'll be responsible for keeping track of stock levels and coordinating communication between internal departments and suppliers.
This is for the person with a keen eye for detail, excellent organisation, and a positive, team-focused approach. You should go into the role confident, able to manage multiple priorities, work with data, and use systems to support accurate product and stock information.
This role requires GCSE’s or equivalent industry standard experience, but also sees experience in the field as a viable substitute. Essential skills include strong organisational and time management skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Host Families
This is a job unlike any other you'll find out there, as you'll be housing the future stars of Newcastle United. As players get their start for NUFC's junior leagues, the club is seeking host families to help care for them in return for competitive remuneration.
The club offers both short-term (1–2 nights) and full-time (7 nights per week) placements for players aged 14–21. However, you must be in Newcastle upon Tyne (postcodes NE7, NE6, NE2, NE3, NE12) and be close to the club's education partner or the Academy.
Your role will see you provide an evening meal, breakfast, access to laundry facilities and Wi-Fi, a safe and suitable environment for the player, a private bedroom with a double bed, and a willingness to accommodate trialists and provide holiday cover when needed.
People with experience working with young people are particularly encouraged to apply.
