When does the transfer window close in other leagues? The September 1 (September 2 AEST) deadline has been aligned across Europe’s major leagues, with the Premier League, EFL, German Bundesliga, Italy’s Serie A, Spanish LaLiga and Ligue 1 in France all closing their transfer windows on the same day. However, that doesn’t rule out departures after the deadline. Players can still leave Premier League clubs for competitions whose transfer windows remain open beyond September 2, like Turkiye for example. Can signings be made after Deadline Day? The Tuesday, 23:00 BST (Wednesday, 8am AEST) deadline does not necessarily mean the end of transfer activity.
