Sunderland’s £80.7m transfer picture as Wilson Isidor, Simon Adingra and Dayann Methalie latest emerges Fresh developments have emerged around Wilson Isidor, Simon Adingra and Sunderland’s £25.7m Dayann Methalie pursuit Sunderland’s transfer window is beginning to gather pace, with Toulouse publicly confirming negotiations over Dayann Methalie and fresh reports linking Simon Adingra and Wilson Isidor with West Ham United. Here is the latest on all three players, including the valuations involved and Régis Le Bris’s recent comments on the futures of his two attackers. Toulouse confirm Methalie negotiations Toulouse president Olivier Cloarec has confirmed that discussions with Sunderland over Methalie have been taking place for almost a month, although the clubs are yet to reach an agreement. The 20-year-old left-back is understood to want the move to Wearside, while reports in France have claimed the framework of a five-year contract is already in place. Sunderland’s latest offer is reported to be worth more than £21.4million including add-ons, but Toulouse are holding out for around £25.7million. The French club want a package greater than the deal which took Emersonn to Ipswich Town earlier this summer. Speaking to RMC, Cloarec said: “Dayann is one of the players who is very much in demand this summer, as well as others. We talk a lot about Dayann, but there are others who are very much in demand too. “There are discussions with Sunderland and interest from other clubs. Today, we are discussing with Sunderland, but there is no agreement between the two clubs. We’ve been discussing with Sunderland for three or four weeks, so Dayann’s starting amount has been fixed for three weeks or a month.” He added: “Dayann is like Emerson. They are two players we were absolutely counting on for this year’s project, with contracts that are quite long. After that, the market means that when you get to a certain amount, not selling the player would be a management mistake. They’re not for sale, but we know in football that when you get to a certain amount, you have to change your mind.” West Ham explore Simon Adingra deal West Ham are also continuing to explore a move for Adingra, according to club insider ExWHUEmployee. The Hammers are looking for a left winger following their relegation to the Championship and have considered several potential loan options from Premier League clubs. ExWHUEmployee reports that Sunderland would ideally prefer a permanent sale, but their valuation is currently beyond what West Ham are prepared to pay. A loan containing an option or obligation to buy has been raised as a potential alternative. Sunderland are understood to value Adingra at around £30million after signing him from Brighton for approximately £21million last summer. Roma, RB Leipzig and several English clubs have also been credited with an interest in the Ivory Coast international. Wilson Isidor rumours continue ExWHUEmployee has also claimed that discussions involving Isidor have continued as West Ham assess possible additions to their forward line. There is no suggestion at this stage that West Ham have submitted a formal offer to Sunderland. The Black Cats valued Isidor at around £25million during the January window, when interest from Everton and other Premier League clubs failed to result in a deal. Isidor will miss Sunderland’s final game of their United States tour against Wrexham after returning to England to deal with a personal matter. Le Bris stressed that the issue was not considered serious and indicated that the forward should soon return to training on Wearside.
