Former WWE Star Tiger Ali Sing says the promotion used forged documents during their $7 million lawsuit. On the Two Man Power Trip podcast, Tiger Ali Singh detailed the $7 million lawsuit he filed against WWE in 2002. He alleged racial harassment, religious discrimination, unsafe working conditions, and wrongful termination. Some of his allegations included being called a “taxi driver” by other WWE talent, and performers desecrating his Sikh turban. He also claimed the promotion forced him to wrestle in unsafe, rainy conditions in Puerto Rico. Moreover, this resulted in a career-ending concussion. He also claimed the company wrongfully terminated his contract while he was sidelined with the injury. Tiger Ali Sing revealed that WWE introduced a waiver he allegedly signed during the proceedings. It indemnified the promotion and the Puerto Rican promoter if he got injured. “What they tried to do was say, ‘Well, he wrestled for a third-party company, so we’re not liable.’ My contract was with WWE. I was being compensated by the WWE while I was in Puerto Rico. My lawyers did a phenomenal job to show a correlation in that, ‘Okay, they lent him or whatever, but he’s still under the contract here.’ Then they brought up this document that I had signed, a waiver, a release waiver indemnifying WWE and the local promoter over there if I were to get injured.” Tiger Ali Singh’s legal team proved the WWE document was forged “I had never seen that ever before. So when they brought it up, my lawyers asked me, I said, ‘I didn’t sign it.’ And it was signed Tiger Ali Singh. So, as you know, in a legal document, you’re not signing your character name. I’m not like the Warrior (Ultimate Warrior legally changed his name) or something like that,” Singh continued. “And then they brought in writing experts. I don’t know what they called them, what the legal term of those guys are. And they proved that it was forgery. I don’t know how many times I had to do Tiger Ali Singh and my legal name, but they did an analysis of the curvature and all that kind of stuff and go, ‘Tiger didn’t sign this,'” the former WWE star said.
