WWE‘s John Cena teases dropping a lot of information on the John Cena Classic soon. During his recent appearance at FanExpo Canada, the WWE legend faced two interesting questions from the fans. One was which wrestlers he wanted to face, but didn’t get a chance to. The second was what happened to the John Cena Classic he announced back in May at Backlash. For the first question, John Cena replied that he never had a list of opponents he wanted to face. He only went with what WWE presented him throughout his career. “Okay, two great questions. Who would I want to face that I didn’t get a chance to face? I don’t really look at what I do like that. So I never take a laundry list of opponents of, like, I would like to compete against X, Y, and Z. I simply show up and do the best I can with whoever’s put in front of me,” John Cena began. “I had some opponents that changed at the last minute. I was told, like, ‘Hey, you’re going to face this person,’ and it ends up being a different person. Over the 23 years of competing in the WWE, your schedule and your plan change a lot. For the people that have seen Unreal, you can see how much the plan changes. And they only focus on, like, the injury. This person got injured, so plans change. Plans change way more than just injury-based plans. So I never want to focus on, like, I have this menu of people I want to face. I wanted to stay healthy, I wanted to make all my dates, and I wanted to give it my best. And I think I achieved all three,” Cena said. He says WWE has figured out all the details for the John Cena Classic Addressing the John Cena Classic, he revealed that WWE has all the details figured out, but asked him to keep them a secret. However, he promised to share a lot of information about the event with the fans soon. “As far as the John Cena Classic goes, I can’t say anything right now. I don’t want to leave you without an answer. Normally I want to say we’re figuring out the details. I’ll say this. We have all the details. You just got to hang in there with me because they want me to keep it a secret until it’s time to say it. But we got a lot of information I’m going to dump on you. It just ain’t going to be today,” he said. Recent reports noted that WWE has planned to host the John Cena Classic on December 12. The date coincides with the recently announced Wrestlepalooza PLE, which will take place in Perth, Australia. However, the promotion hasn’t confirmed it yet.
