Tottenham winger Manor Solomon is heading to a Championship club. Tottenham Hotspur have been praised by the fans for the way they have gone about player sales so far this summer transfer window. The latest player set to be sold is Ashley Phillips, who will complete a £20 million move to Middlesbrough despite having made just one senior appearance for Spurs. The Lilywhites are prepared to cash in on some more players as they look to create space in the squad for potential incomings. Manor Solomon is one such player. It was recently reported that West Ham are advancing on a deal to sign the Tottenham winger. The 27-year-old has spent the last two seasons away on loan at Leeds United, Villarreal and Fiorentina, but is set to leave White Hart Lane permanently this summer. Fabrizio Romano announces ‘Here We Go’ for Manor Solomon to West Ham According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano on X, Tottenham have agreed a £7m package with West Ham for Manor Solomon. The Hammers will pay £5 million up front and another £2m in add-ons after lengthy negotiations with Spurs. He is expected to undergo a medical on Sunday and sign a three-year contract with the Championship club, with an option for another year. Solomon’s previous stint in the Championship turned out to be extremely fruitful. The Israeli international spent the 2024/25 campaign with Leeds United, which yielded 10 goals and 13 assists in 39 Championship appearances. The diminutive attacker scored a dramatic 91st-minute goal against Plymouth Argyle that helped the Whites clinch the Championship title in 2025. Despite impressing consistently at Elland Road, Leeds decided against signing Solomon permanently from Tottenham. Now, the 27-year-old gets another opportunity to shine in the Championship. West Ham are getting a player with quality and experience, hungry for regular minutes to revive his career. He is expected to walk into Nuno Espirito Santo’s XI and replace Crysencio Summerville on the left flank, adding pace, unpredictability, directness and creativity to the attack. While there was interest from newly-promoted Premier League side Hull City and Serie A club Fiorentina, West Ham acted decisively to secure their target. With medical checks scheduled and all documentation approved by both clubs, the Irons expect to announce Solomon as their latest signing imminently. If everything goes as per the plan, the Israeli star could make his West Ham debut on August 16 in their Championship opener against Burnley at Turf Moor.
