A public police report obtained by IndyStar indicates Allen was arrested Sunday morning around 1 am while IMPD officers were conducting a traffic investigation on Meridian Street near Monument Circle. In a statement from IMPD, officers observed a vehicle parked in a no-parking zone at 110 S Meridian St. They spoke with the driver, later identified as Allen, and “noticed signs of intoxication.” Allen was charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OVWI) with a 0.08 or higher alcohol concentration and OVMI endangering a person after further investigation. Inmate records indicate Allen was released at 3:49 pm on Sunday afternoon from the Marion County Arrestee Processing Center. A court date has been set for Sept. 16, three days after the Colts’ season-opening game against the Ravens at Lucas Oil Stadium. “We are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night,” the Colts said in a statement provided to IndyStar. “We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time.”
