Feyenoord drop points again at home; AZ remain top as Ajax and PSV win comfortably Feyenoord dropped points for the second time this season in the Eredivisie on Sunday. Although Utrecht took the lead through Artem Stepanov after just six minutes, their defence could not handle the PSV attack, resulting in an eventual 6-1 scoreline in the Galgenwaard in Utrecht. Ruben van Bommel started the scoring with a thunderous shot into the far corner; Guus Til made it 2-1 before Mauro Junior, Sven Mijnans, a second from Til and a goal from right-back Sergino Dest finished the scoring. Utrecht are currently second from the bottom with 15 goals conceded in just four games. AZ Alkmaar held on to top spot. Lee-Roy Echtold’s side are the only team to have won all their games thus far. The Alkmaarders handed Go Ahead Eagles their first defeat under new manager Joseph Oosting with another dazzling display, beating the Deventer club 5-2. The AZ goals were scored by Dave Kwakman, Ro-Zangelo Daal (2), Lewis Schouten, and Mateo Chavez. Victor Edvardsen and Mathis Suray got the goals for Go Ahead. Cambuur are now the only team without a point gained after four games. The club from Leeuwarden was soundly beaten again; this time it was Twente who put four goals past them in a 4-1 win.
