Today’s (Aug. 30) AEW All In pay-per-view featured a Casino Gauntlet match for a guaranteed future shot at the AEW world championship. It was a bit strange that no count down timers were shown as different stars took their turn to enter the fray. Andrade outsmarts The OTC to win AEW’s Casino Gauntlet match at All In Andrade gets one over on MJF after the AEW commentator hilariously botches a wrestler’s name during the Casino Gauntlet. The first seven entrants were Andrade, MJF, Nick Wayne, Speedball Bailey, Tommaso Ciampa, Chris Jericho, and Mark Davis. Things then got funny when Komander came out as the 8th entrant, but AEW announcer Justin Roberts botched his name as “Mistico.” The live fans were getting on Justin’s case until Komander ran the ropes like a madman for a crazy high spot. Roberts then corrected Komander’s entry into the match, and the fans erupted in delight. Mistico was out next, but he was attacked during his entrance by the 10th entrant, that loser Daniel Garcia. The commentators soon busted Justin Roberts’ chops a little more when Mistico and Komander had the ring to themselves for a brief sequence. “Jungle” Jack Perry entered as the 11th entrant and tried to win with his Snare Trap. Big moves were coming fast and furious with Jericho’s Judas Effect, and Nick Wayne smashing Davis’s face with a Phoenix Splash. Earlier in the bout, Wayne fell for MJF’s bullshit tactics when he agreed to work together to win the match. That came back to bite him at the end of the bout when the One True Champion (OTC) turned on him with a low blow and Heat Seeker. However, Andrade was waiting to take advantage of the situation; MJF never saw it coming when El Idolo sent him out of the ring with a spinning back elbow and stole the pin on Wayne for the win. Andrade is now guaranteed a future match for the AEW world title, which will be in the hands of either Kenny Omega or Will Ospreay at the end of the night.
