Ipswich Town has announced the signing of central midfielder Saša Lukić from Premier League rival Fulham. The Serbian International joins for an undisclosed fee and has signed a contract running until the summer of 2030; he is Ipswich’s eighth addition of a busy summer transfer window. Lukić arrives at Portman Road with significant top-flight experience, with 100+ Premier League appearances during his spell at Craven Cottage. His career also includes seven seasons in Serie A with Torino and a stint in La Liga with Levante, adding further experience to Town’s midfield options. This move is subject to the visa application being approved. I know there is a great history here and some brilliant supporters so I can’t wait to get started.” He has already played at Portman Road, the last time Ipswich was in the Premier League, and he says the atmosphere left a lasting impression. “It was one of the best I have experienced. I can’t wait to play here as a home player.” He also describes himself as a high-energy and all-action midfielder “I am a box‑to‑box player who gives my all every time I am on the pitch. Having played nearly 100 games in the Premier League, he knows what it takes to compete in the division and has been a consistent performer throughout his time at Fulham.”
