New Indianapolis Colts WR Keenan Allen was arrested on misdemeanor charges ESPN is reporting that Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Keenan Allen was arrested on Sunday morning on drunken driving charges. He was arrested on preliminary charges of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated (OVWI) and OVWI endangering a person, per the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department. The police arrested Allen in downtown Indianapolis on Sunday morning at approximately 1 a.m. ET. The report states that his vehicle was parked in a no-parking zone, and the veteran wideout showed “signs of intoxication”. The Indianapolis Colts released the following statement following the news of the situation: “We are aware of the incident involving Keenan Allen last night. We are in the process of gathering more information and have no further comment at this time.” Keenan Allen recently made his Indianapolis Colts debut in the preseason after signing a one-year contract earlier this month. The six-time Pro Bowler recorded one catch for 24 yards in Saturday’s preseason game against the Detroit Lions. Allen is entering his 14th NFL season with 12 of them being with the Los Angeles Rams. In 2025, he played in all 17 games (three starts) and recorded 81 catches on 122 targets for 777 yards (9.6 yards per reception) with four touchdowns. In terms of discipline, there will likely be no suspension or anything of that nature to affect Allen’s season.
