I think we all know the answer now, because DMD finally returned to AEW during today’s (Aug. 30) Buy In pre-show for All In 2026 at Wembley Stadium. Britt Baker finally returns to AEW, and there is now a new TBS champion There was a huge surprise in AEW at Wembley Stadium when a masked mystery person revealed herself to be Britt Baker. It all went down when a mystery masked person showed up at the finish of Maya World’s TBS championship defense against CMLL World Women’s Champion Persephone. The mystery person attacked the champ, which helped Persephone win the title and become a double champ. The AEW commentators assumed the mystery person was Maya’s rival Hikaru Shida, but once this person applied the Lockjaw submission hold on Maya, it became apparent that Britt Baker was back. Holy shit, that was unexpected. A few minutes later, Baker cut a promo backstage confirming her alliance with Perspehone, and Thunder Rosa was namedropped as one of their future targets.
