Jean-Matteo Bahoya has rejected a move to Hull City after Eintracht Frankfurt accepted the bid, amid rumours of Milan and Roma interest instead.
The 21-year-old was all set and told to pack his bags to fly out for a medical in England when he turned down the transfer, claim multiple sources including Fabrizio Romano, Sky Sports UK and more.
Bahoya looking for more than Hull City
It means the versatile French winger is still on the market and looking for a more prestigious club as the next step in his career.
This news comes after Bahoya was already linked with a potential move to Milan as a replacement for Rafael Leao, and it is entirely possible he could still be approached even after a deal was done for Nottingham Forest’s Omari Hutchinson.
Footmercato in France had pointed towards contact between Milan and Bahoya’s entourage several days ago.
The extraordinarily quick player can also be considered a potential target for Roma, who have qualified for the Champions League and are looking for players in this position.
