Athekame shining in France Yesterday’s game against Le Havre was his second start for the club in Ligue 1 and whilst OL drew, they can be happy with the signs shown by Athekame – if they’re not, the Rossoneri certainly will be. The wing-back had 74 touches, making 40 accurate passes from an attempted 47 and even gave an assist. Perhaps it could’ve been more, too, with two chances created. Defensively, he won one tackle and three of his eight duels, which can certainly be improved. However, it’s still a strong performance for a wing-back, who will be more focused on attack when he returns.
