Roy Keane says Liverpool were unlucky to concede a penalty when Alisson Becker was adjudged to have committed a foul in the box on Saturday.
The Brazilian was penalised for a supposed foul on former Liverpool star Neco Williams, colliding with the fullback after the fullback had already taken a shot, which was off target.
The referee pointed to the spot, giving Forest the chance to go 2-1 up to the fury of the Liverpool players.
The referee gave this as a penalty against Alisson???

It was a bitter blow, and ultimately dictated the result. Liverpool were able to rescue a point after a brilliant piece of play from Florian Wirtz gave Victor Munoz the chance to score on his Anfield debut.
However, the penalty incident has infuriated fans.
Despite the ire of supporters, the Premier League Match Centre on X supported the decision by sharing the conversation between referee Sam Barrott and VAR.

The referee’s call of penalty to Nottingham Forest for the challenge by Alisson on Williams was checked and confirmed by VAR.

Barrott said: “For me, he comes out and doesn’t play the ball when he clears the player out. He doesn’t play the ball.”
The VAR, Michael Oliver, said: “Alisson’s right hand on his left foot. Clear contact by Alisson. Confirming the on-field decision of penalty, check complete.”
You know it’s bad when Roy Keane is on Liverpool’s side
Speaking on Sky Sports, Roy Keane said that Premier League referees can’t be awarding penalties for this type of incident.

Keane said: “That’s never a penalty for me. The first thing I’m looking at is when the contact actually happens. Williams has already taken the shot. The ball is gone. Then there’s slight contact with Alisson afterwards.
“So what exactly has Alisson stopped him from doing? He’s already done what he wanted to do. He got his shot away.
“If Alisson takes him out before he can shoot, completely different conversation. But you can’t have a player complete the chance, miss it, then give him another chance from the penalty spot because there’s a bit of contact afterwards.
“And it’s not some reckless challenge where Alisson has gone through him either. We’re talking about slight contact after the ball has already left his foot.
“I actually think Iraola’s answer afterwards tells you something. He says, ‘I’ll leave it to you to decide if it was a penalty or not.’ Of course he will. His team got the penalty.
“Forest will take it, absolutely. But for me Liverpool have every right to be furious. Williams had his chance. You don’t give him another one because of what happened after the shot.”
