NFL Fans Shocked After Terrion Arnold Signs With New Team
The Detroit Lions released cornerback Terrion Arnold not long after disturbing details came to light about his complicated legal situation.
Despite Arnold’s legal situation still pending, he’s signed a new NFL contract.
Multiple sources report that Arnold has officially signed with the Seattle Seahawks, as first reported by ESPN’s Brady Henderson.
“The Seahawks signed CB Terrion Arnold today, the team announced. They’d agreed to a one-year, minimum-salary deal earlier this month,” Henderson wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “OT Derrick Graham was waived to make room.”
As a result, the Seahawks must wait to see if Arnold will make the commissioner’s exempt list for the start of the season.
A Seahawks contract does not guarantee Arnold playing time, however.
Seattle expects him to be placed on the commissioner’s exempt list, which means he can’t participate in practice or game action until his legal case is resolved.
“Seahawks are still in line to sign CB Terrion Arnold but are working through timing and it will take a while, sources tell me and @RapSheet,” Garafalo reported on X, formerly known as Twitter.”The NFL will place Arnold on the commissioner’s exempt list once signed, so he won’t play or practice while his legal case plays out.”
