Kelenic, 27, is set to report to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre after he became a free agent when he declined minor league assignment by the Texas Rangers. A former No. 6 overall draft pick by the New York Mets, Kelenic has appeared in major league games for the Seattle Mariners, Atlanta Braves, Chicago White Sox and Rangers. In 36 games for the White Sox and Rangers this season, he was batting .219 with one home run and six RBIs.
