The players of Iranian coach Arash Sadeqiani won the first and second sets 25-18 and 25-15, respectively, lost the third set 25-22, before sealing the fourth set 25-12, securing their seventh consecutive victory in the tournament and claiming their first-ever U17 World Championship title. Iran's national team had won their previous six matches in the tournament, against Algeria, Chinese Taipei (twice), Pakistan (twice), and Argentina, making the French team the final victim on their path to the world title. |
