Steve Maclin has resurfaced following his TNA departure, with fans knowing exactly where the former iMPACT! World Champion is heading next. During a taping for Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling, Maclin appeared in Windsor, Ontario on August 7 and got involved in matches and angles. He first faced Psycho Mike and picked up the win before returning later in the taping to interrupt commentary, though he wasn’t finished just yet. Maclin was later scheduled to face Rhino and attacked him during the WWE alum’s entrance, and Maclin would end up getting disqualified. Maclin also took out the referee and a doctor during the chaos before finishing Rhino off with a con-chair-to to send a message. The TNA alum is a large get for MLP, who recently confirmed that Adam Copeland is scheduled for the promotion’s Northern Rising event. Maclin left TNA in June 2026 after being granted his requested release. He has since said he was considering leaving the company for a while. In a recent interview, he suggested that the company was negatively affecting his financial stability by cutting dates, prompting him to leave. Maclin was recently stripped of an indie title amid rumors that he will be joining AEW, though a move to the ‘All Elite’ promotion has yet to be confirmed.
