(WIBW) - Kansas volleyball opened the 2026 season against one of the nation’s best, falling to No. 4 Pittsburgh 3-1 Friday night. The Jayhawks will have little time to regroup, with another major test waiting Sunday. Kansas will take on No. 5 Stanford at 1:30 p.m. CT at Petersen Events Center. Kansas enters the season coming off a 24-11 campaign in 2025 that saw the Jayhawks reach the NCAA Sweet 16. Head coach Matt Ulmer begins his second season at the helm looking to build on that success.
