Marc Marquez, however, remains, according to most of his rivals, the favorite in the chase for the title, and the month-long break in MotoGP might have helped him in his physical recovery process following yet another surgery on his arm after the GP at Le Mans. Marco Bezzecchi and Fabio Di Giannantonio are also still very much in the game, with Bezzecchi needing to check his physical condition today after undergoing surgery on his left collarbone. Bezzecchi triumphed here in 2025, but this weekend the goal will probably be to rebuild confidence on his Aprilia. For Diggia, the situation is different as he has no physical problems but needs to step up to really stay in the title fight. Like Bezzecchi, Pecco Bagnaia will also need to thoroughly check his physical condition, having undergone surgery for compartment syndrome on his right arm after the Sachsenring round.
