Canice Screene leads the home challenge on day two of the KPMG Women's Irish Open at the K Club, with South African Casandra Alexander continuing to set a hot pace at the head of affairs.
London-born Screene, who plays on the LET Access, added a 67 to her opening 72 to move to five under. Her card included seven birdies with just two dropped shots. Next best of the Irish is Áine Donegan on two under after a round of 73, with Anna Foster and Annabel Wilson a shot further back after rounds of 72 and 71 respectively.

Leona Maguire began the day at one under.
Alexander carded a blemish-free 63 with nine birdies to open up a four-stroke lead after day one. She followed that with a 66 in a round that saw two eagles on her card.
Alexander stands at 15-under par and is five shots clear of her nearest pursuer, Sara Kouskova, from Czechia.
Of the other Irish who have completed their rounds, Sara Byrne is +2 (73), Kate Dillon +3 (70), Anna Abom +4 (76), Katie Poots +5 (71), Beth Coulter +8 (76), Emma Fleming +10 (78).
