Manchester United summer signing Youri Tielemans has received high praise from his former teammate John McGinn. Tielemans completed his transfer to United from Aston Villa last month. This was not United’s first attempt to sign Tielemans, with the club having explored deals for the midfielder twice in recent years without ever managing to get one over the line. At 29, he will bring experience and maturity to the midfield. Having a proven Premier League performer alongside the next generation makes perfect sense. Santos, Kobbie Mainoo, Carlos Baleba, Jack Fletcher and Tyler Fletcher all have plenty to learn, and Tielemans can provide valuable guidance both on and off the pitch.
