The Belgium international was sold to Stade Rennes for €19m that summer, then moved on to Eintracht Frankfurt in 2025. Meanwhile, Sky Sport Italia insist Bologna have asked Fiorentina for the availability of Icelandic forward Gudmundsson, who has struggled since his move to the Stadio Franchi. If Gudmundsson did come to the Stadio Dall’Ara, it would allow the Rossoblu to in turn sell Rowe to Atalanta. It had already been reported that Atalanta made a second bid for Rowe worth €35m plus add-ons, but that the Rossoblu were unwilling to let him leave after previously selling Santiago Castro to Roma.
